Mount Jukes is an Extinct Volcano just north of Mackay, the road winds around the volcano & up the Seaforth range.

Interesting formations like this are all through the area, with Mount Blackwood next door. Once you get to the top of the Seaforth range it overlooks the Cape Hillsborough & Seaforth area where you can see remnants of the Volcanic era out towards the Islands.
