Cape Hillsborough is probably one of the best locations to visit in the Mackay area, with it’s rugged Volcanic coastline that give’s a sense of prehistoric times & let’s not forget the Kangaroo’s on beach.

My wife & I didn’t go out on New Year’s Eve to celebrate as we decided it would be nice to actually start the New year feeling fresh & with adventure, but we weren’t feeling very fresh after hiking / bush bashing up to this lookout. Although the humidity was insane, we definitely did have an adventure that was totally worth the effort & the view speaks for itself.
